What is CookUp?
CookUp is a food ordering and knowledge sharing platform related to cooking that connects everyone who cooks with people in need of quality home-made meals. We want to provide an alternative on the current food ordering market, while helping to fight the world’s hunger problem. CookUp will have a number of advantages over its competitors exclusively thanks to the blockchain technology.
The idea for CookUp was born in 2016 as a platform that would give users the opportunity to cook for others or share their knowledge about cooking and get compensated for their services. Keeping in mind the vast number of problems at the time, it was necessary to find a solution within which the application would function. With the help of blockchain technology at this point it is possible to make a fully integrated solution through which chefs would offer cooking services and users would order food, while the transactions would be performed in CHEF tokens. Since the world is going in direction of decentralization of services, empowering everyone with the ability to offer their cooking services on the market is a step in that direction and at the moment there is no global application of this kind on the market.
