What is ForgeCDN?
ForgeCDN (forge content delivery network) is a decentralized content delivery network based on the principles of fog computing and AI, whose participants make settlements in the cryptocurrency, and transactions get recorded in blockchain .
Everyone with a computer or laptop (static ip-address is required) can connect to the ForgeCDN network and become its node. When connected to the network and pumping traffic from the content distributors to end users, the network participant receives a fee in the FORGE (currency), issued by and based on the blockchain platform Ethereum.
Any static content holders that want to speed up its return to the end-user or to take the load from their servers off considered as clients. Those can be owners of highly loaded sites, online stores, video hosting, social networks, instant messengers, ad insertion systems, Internet providers, TV channels, telecom operators and TV operators providing their services via the Internet.
