The IRIS network is named after the Greek goddess Iris, said to be the personification of the rainbow and the faithful messenger between heaven and humanity.

The IRIS token involves and relates to the development and use of experimental platforms (software) and technologies that may not come to fruition or achieve the objectives specified in this whitepaper.
