What is MetaCene?
MetaCene strives to create a boundless on-chain homeland for all gaming enthusiasts. By connecting MMORPG players, content creators, and Web3 enthusiasts worldwide, MetaCene aims to actualize the vision of “Co-Entertainment, Co-Creation, and Co-Governance” through multiple phases and become the North Star of the Pangu Universe.
MetaCene brings together the founders of Shanda Games, Blizzard, Perfect World and Snail Games. They believe that the emergence of blockchain has given MMO games a new opportunity: a return to the entrepreneurial ethos and a reimagining of gaming as a social endeavor wherein players collectively fashion a new virtual society through communication, collaboration, and competition.
Through the three core stages of the Genesis of Fire, the Realm of Apocalypse, and the Spirit of All Things, MetaCene plans to launch an official game version in 2024, accessible across PC, mobile and cloud platforms. With ecological NFT series such as Apostle, Realms, and Treasure Box, MetaCene endeavors to foster symbiotic relationships and mutual prosperity between players and the ecosystem through continuous development and evolution.
