What is Points Network?
Points token is created to be used as rewards for User Generated Content. For every platform, we’ll design a system that would reward the users for their time and efforts of posting high quality content on websites. This includes all 3 platforms which we’re planning to launch by the end of 2020.
For our first platform “Answerly” (which is expected to launch by mid Aug 2019), the users will be rewarded with Points token for the answers which that add to the platform. Similarly, users will be rewarded on our blogging platform for posting high quality and unique content.
In order to limit the supply while increasing the overall demand of Points token, we plan to cut the reward by half after achieving every few milestones. Sustainability plan for our first platform is mentioned below. In addition to this we’ve decided not to make it too easy for anyone to avail points token by airdropping it. Airdrops make it too easy for people to cheat the system by creating hundreds of different identities and claiming the reward by using those identities. This usually results in the price fall. Our aim is to prevent the price from dumping after Points token hit the exchanges.
