What is Scalene?

Scalene is the first convertible NFT. What if NFTs could be not only minted, traded and held, but also converted back to fungible tokens then programmatically forged into new NFTs. Users will be able to mint NFTs that contain fungible tokens inside.

To withdraw these tokens, you must do what is called “Shredding”. Destroying the NFT in exchange for the tokens inside. Users will be able to mint Store-of-Value NFTs, sell them on the marketplace and even launch their own token on the platform. Each NFT will be a high quality 3D object that is renderable in VR, like Decentraland and also the web browser.

3D model designers will be able to create raw 3D graphics and list them in the 3D Minter Marketplace, every time someone creates an NFT with your model, you will get a royalty payment. If a user creates a their own token using your 3D model, expect to get many royalty payments concurrently.

Scalene is answering the question “Do NFTs have value?” by instilling value directly into the NFT itself. Mintable. Shreddable. Value added. Value withdrawn. Scalene Convertible NFTs are born.
