Founded by Roberta de Paula Oliveira, inspired by the 30 years of her father’s work in Africa, where she could see the need of thousands of people who did not have drinking water to live. Being aware of the bureaucracies, the costs and the limitations of governments and countries regarding the purchase of water purification equipment, they both devised a cryptocurrency that has an unrestricted base and that helps all those people.

The business model is very simple, donations are made which work with an NGO in defense of life, which subcontracts to the company AcuaLimpa that accepts the WaterCoins as payments. Within all this analysis, the projects that are executed in different parts of the world are selected.
